Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Strong technology skills
  3. Strong communication skills
  4. Ability to work well with others

Principal

Supervises:
Not applicable

Terms of Employment:
The contract length will be 205 days.

Evaluation:
Based on local district policy and performed by the building principal who is assisted by the assistant principal in regard to evaluations.

Job Goal:
The Secondary Secretary is responsible for overseeing the office management of the school in accordance with all District policies.

Performance Responsibilities:

  1. Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
  2. Checks students in and out of school.
  3. Completes daily attendance records, including entering documentation for excused absences.
  4. Generates attendance reports, as needed.
  5. Generates and mails five- and ten-day notice letters to parents/guardians as instructed by building administration.
  6. Files attendance notices with local juvenile agency as instructed by building administration.
  7. Follows all procedures concerning confidentiality of records.
  8. Completes basic tasks necessary for effective operation of the school office.
  9. Other duties, as assigned.
