SECOND OFFICER/RELIEF CHIEF OFFICER

Horseshoe Bay

We are seeking a highly motivated, Second Officer, Relief Chief Officer to fill a regular position at Horseshoe Bay.

In this position you will stand a watch as the Navigating Officer of the vessel. You have Considerable knowledge of applicable navigating equipment and techniques; Considerable knowledge of Corporate policies and procedures applicable to the position; Considerable knowledge of international, federal and provincial regulations applicable to the position; Considerable knowledge of safety and emergency procedures; Considerable knowledge of ship handling principles, stability, seamanship and deck maintenance

As duties will vary depending on business requirements, a flexible attitude is essential. You are extremely safety-conscious. You hold a valid Chief Mate, Near Coastal Certificate or higher and Valid Seafarer’s Medical certificate.
