SEASONAL YOUTH LACROSSE RECREATION LEADER I

HIRING RANGE: $15.50 PER HOUR

About the Position:

The Youth Lacrosse Recreation Leader I will lead and instruct participants in a skills and scrimmage-based lacrosse program for youth. This position is responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment while teaching fundamental lacrosse techniques, promoting sportsmanship, and ensuring participant safety.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead enriching, engaging and fun activities for participants
  • Follow the lead of program to work through daily schedule of events
  • Mentor youth participants toward positive sportsmanship and teamwork
  • Help ensure safety guidelines and program procedures are followed at all times
  • Come to each session with an awesome attitude, ready to coach and encourage youth in a positive athletic environment
  • Perform related work as required

This position is a safety-sensitive position, which means you will be subject to random drug screens due to the nature of the work performed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Applicants must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and, if required for the specific position, a physical examination.
  • Must be available from September 8, 2026, to October 20, 2026.
  • Previous experience playing, leading, and coaching lacrosse.
  • Enjoys interacting with children of all ages continually throughout the day.
  • Ability to model organizational teamwork to exceptional performance levels, exhibit positive work ethic and to integrate efforts of the entire organization.
  • Works well with people, treating everyone with respect and building trust.
  • Takes appropriate initiative.
  • Timely follow through on commitments.
  • Delivers high quality work performance.
