Job Description

We are seeking Seasonal Youth Development Specialists to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to young people in our community. You will work with a team of professionals to create a safe and engaging environment for youth to learn and grow. The Club experience focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.

Location: Fort Worth & Arlington Branch Locations
Employment Type: Seasonal (May 25, 2026 – July 31, 2026)

Requirements

Education and work experience requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with youth

Qualifications include:

  • Available to work between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday ( Minimum 20 hours weekly)
  • Ability to complete training during the week of May 25th
  • Ability to be a positive role model
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be able to pass all required background screens and drug screens at any time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual
  • Knowledge of various program areas such as healthy lifestyles, culture and arts, academics, social development, and teen interests
  • Work experience or program knowledge of the Boys & Girls Club Movement (national and/or local Club)

Salary:

  • $14.05 per hour
