The County of Grande Prairie is currently seeking Seasonal Vegetation Control with an immediate start until October 31st, 2026 Vegetation Control is responsible for spraying weeds and brush on County-owned property including on roadsides and in gravel pits. This position typically works Monday through Friday and during busy season with a 5:00 a.m. start time, with some weekends and evenings as required.
Responsibilities include:
Term Length: Immediate start until October 30th, 2026.
Work Schedule: This position works 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Weekends and Stat holidays off.
Hourly Pay: $29.27 to $34.43.
Closing Date: August 16th, 2026 11.59 pm Mountain Time.
