Since 1989, The Trout Shop has been a cornerstone of the Craig fly fishing community. We are a full service fly shop with guides, lodging, deli, restaurant, rentals & shuttles— but what we really do is help guests plan trips, get on the water, eat well, relax, and leave feeling like they just had the perfect day on the Missouri River.

The Trout Shop in Craig, Montana is hiring seasonal full-time and part-time staff for the 2026 season (late March–October 31st).
This is a small-town fly shop on a big river. When the fishing’s good, things move fast. We need people who can keep up, stay positive, and make every guest feel taken care of.
You don’t have to be the best angler in the room or know every hatch by heart. What matters most is that you genuinely like fly fishing, enjoy talking with people, and are willing to learn. Being friendly and approachable is key — we want every guest to leave feeling welcome and excited about their day.
