As a Seasonal Talent Acquisition Sourcing Captain, you will play a key role in supporting your team throughout the holiday season by managing daily workloads, auditing task completion, and delivering timely, actionable feedback. You’ll assist with training and onboarding during seasonal colleagues’ ramp-up and nesting periods and provide regular updates and recaps to TA leaders to ensure visibility and alignment of team performance.

In addition to supporting the team, you’ll stay actively involved in the work by sourcing candidates and helping ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for every candidate. You’ll use data and observations from day-to-day activity to help identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and overall candidate experience at scale.

This position is based in the Tampa, FL location. It is a hybrid role that requires regular in-office presence and is not fully remote.The schedule includes days, mid-shifts, and weekends.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support a team of sourcers to deliver consistent, high-quality structured sourcing.
  • Coach, train, and provide real-time feedback that builds sourcer confidence and improves performance.
  • Identify strong talent by evaluating candidate skills, experience, and alignment to role expectations.
  • Capture sourcer outcomes accurately and provide clear, objective hiring recommendations.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders, and team members to keep hiring moving quickly and effectively.
  • Create a smooth, welcoming candidate journey that leaves every applicant with a positive impression of our brand.

Skills that Matter

Must Have

  • The ability to motivate and support a team.
  • A passion for creating a positive candidate experience through respectful interactions and genuine hospitality.
  • Ability to conduct structured sourcing, assess qualifications thoughtfully, and make objective recommendations.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sourcers and follow-up tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records while following hiring guidelines and processes.
  • Comfort using Applicant Tracking Systems, other hiring-related platforms, dual monitors, and other workplace technology tools.
  • Adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Previous experience working in recruiting, interviewing, customer service, or high-volume hiring support.
  • Experience working in a centralized, high-volume, or call-center-style environment.
  • Familiarity with seasonal or hourly hiring in retail or another fast-paced service environment.
