SEASONAL Quality Assurance Assistant (Temporary)

Canada Summer Jobs Temporary Position (Approx. 8 weeks)

Seasonal Position (35 hours/week)

Hourly Rate $19.82 CAD

The Seasonal Quality Assurance Assistant will support district systems in maintaining quality assurance systems within the framework of established policies and procedures according to the unique need of each district. Under the direction of the Systems Manager, the Seasonal Quality Assurance Assistant will assist in communicating organizational policies, service and quality standards, and information in the district and assist the district office with day-to-day tasks and assigned projects.
The Seasonal Quality Assurance Assistant will respect and uphold the Values, Vision and Mission of Karis Disability Services, demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy and respect in their dealings with other employees, people using services, and both internal and external stakeholders.

Office Coordination

  • organize and upkeep of district office files
  • Coordinate the ongoing archiving of district office files
  • Provide support to various district departments with projects as assigned

District Systems

  • Assist with Program Assessments
  • Update processes and procedures
  • Support Systems of documentation and data entry
  • Provide support to compliance and quality assurance measures

Requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs Program for this position:

  • The candidate will work 28-35 hours a week for approximately 8-16 weeks;
  • Be between the ages of 18-30 at the start of employment;
  • Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
