Seasonal QA Specialist
The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Seasonal QA Specialist to work in our tomato paste, pizza sauce, salsa, peeled pear canned tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, and tomato sauce production area in Escalon, CA. Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the person selected for this position will be expected to become familiar with all aspects of Quality Assurance and provide cross-functional support to their assigned business unit. The Quality Specialist must work closely with the other members of the quality team and provide support to the cross functional departments. The Specialist will be required to continually contribute to the improvement of quality processes. The specialist will be expected to audit all plant quality systems, plant conditions, housekeeping, manufacturing/sanitation procedures, and outside warehouses. Position will be selected by an interview process.
Starting Pay $23.00/hour
Five California Sick Paid Leave Days
Union facility-this is a NON-UNION POSITION
Monday-Sunday during the months of July- October
First shift (6AM-2PM), second shift (2PM-10PM), and third shift (10PM-6AM).
Specialist work schedule TBD
Overtime may be available based on business need

Each season, our tomato crop begins with seed varieties that have been carefully cultivated by our research team to provide the best balance of flavor, aroma, and color. Many of the growers who plant these seeds were handpicked by Cristoforo Colombo more than 50 years ago.
Plant Overview:

As a QA Specialist you’ll see first-hand how our tomatoes go from farm to table. You’ll be a front of the line employee who will contribute to our continuous growth.
May include, but isn’t limited to:
· High School Diploma with up to 5 years of in food safety and quality Or Bachelor Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, or Manufacturing with 1 to 3 years in food safety and quality
· Experience in the following programs:
o HACCP, ISO22000, and GMP
o Process Control / Problem Solving
o Quality Auditing
o QA analytical instruments
· Experience in data analysis, technical writing in routines and training
· Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and statistical tools
· Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
