About the Role

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the swimming pool and surrounding deck areas.
• Skim pool surfaces, remove debris, vacuum pool as required, and maintain overall cleanliness.
• Test and record pool water chemistry levels, including chlorine, pH, and other required parameters.
• Add and adjust pool chemicals under the direction of the supervisor and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor pool equipment and report any maintenance concerns or operational issues.
• Ensure pool furniture and common areas are clean and organized.
• Conduct routine inspections of the pool area to identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Ensure pool rules and facility guidelines are followed.
• Maintain accurate logs related to water testing, maintenance activities, and inspections.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and use personal protective.

Experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, visitors, and team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, walking, climbing stairs, and standing or moving for extended periods.
• Previous pool maintenance, building maintenance, or customer service experience is considered an asset but is not required.
• Access to reliable transportation to accommodate split shifts and travel to the work location.
• Availability to work split shifts, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as required.
