Omni Viking Lakes Hotel

A substantial part of the 200-acre Viking Lakes mixed-use development, this destination is home to the Minnesota Vikings headquarters, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center and TCO Stadium. The location is easily accessible from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, the Mall of America and airport, with additional uses for the planned development to include corporate offices, retail, restaurants and entertainment.

The 320-room luxury hotel features more than 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and pre-function space, including a 7,500-square-foot ballroom, a 4,410-square-foot event center and six two-story hospitality lounges for groups and meeting planners to utilize. From small board meetings, conferences and large galas or special events to Sunday football tailgates and more, the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel accommodates groups of all sizes with its robust meetings offerings, multiple food and beverage venues, a signature spa and state-of-the-art fitness facilities.

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Seasonal Pool Guest Service Attendant to facilitate fun and enjoyment for our guests. They work primarily outdoors alongside adults, families and children. Attendants are responsible for the safety and cleanliness of pool facilities, stocking needed supplies and fulfilling guest needs through anticipatory service.

Salary for this position starts at (based on experience): $18.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Viking Lakes are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Viking Lakes reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Ensure resort guests have an exemplary experience through warm welcomes, anticipatory service and fond farewells.
2. Monitor the pool deck for safety, cleanliness and guest needs.
3. Empty towel bins and ensure pools areas are free of debris and trash.
4. Re-stock towels and other supplies related to the operation; ensure appropriate rotation and prevent shortages.
5. Assist in enforcing guest-related pool policies and standards with grace and kindness.
6. Assist fellow associates as needed.
7. Ensure furniture is clean and in presentable condition.
8. Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitary and in presentable condition.
9. Ensure that all trash receptacles throughout the designated pool areas are promptly emptied and maintained.
10. Report facility issues promptly to immediate supervisor or manager on duty.
11. Follow safety procedures to include reporting of unsafe conditions or work practices to immediate supervisor or manager.
12. Assist guests with any request or know where to direct them.
13. Work safely and follow all Omni Safety and Loss Prevention standards.
Adhere to all Standards of Conduct as outlined in the Associate Handbook.Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High energy with a service mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Conversational English-speaking abilities required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
