Job Description

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the successful candidate will be a results-driven, self-starter who is always looking for opportunities for improvement, and has the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

The position duration is of 2 to 3 weeks, staring ASAP, with opportunity to return for the next season.

Work location: 41 North St, O'Leary, PE C0A 1V0

Wages: $17.00 to $23.00 depending on your experience in heavy equipment operation.

  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the mixing process.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • Work in production line using designated equipment as directed
  • Prepare raw material for fertilizer mixing process
  • Perform routine clean up and maintenance of the site.
  • Operate forklift, skidsteer, loader
  • All other related duties as assigned
  • Ability to lift up to 55lbs (25kgs).
  • Availability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment would be considered an asset
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience working in manufacturing or farm/fertilizer operations would be considered an asset.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Able to speak and understand the English language proficiently.
