Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a Seasonal Petroleum Driver at our Swan River Location. Shifts available in Spring and Fall, and possible periodic coverage depending on availability.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Petroleum Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of fuel to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver fuel to customers as per their request and in accordance with our credit policies.
  • Minor routine truck maintenance and recording keeping.
  • General maintenance of Bulk Petroleum and Cardlock sites.
  • Conduct pre & post operation truck inspections.
  • Follow all safe work procedures in place for Swan Valley Co-op and the FCL corporate bulk plant and report all hazardous conditions immediately to the Petroleum Manager.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Bulk Petroleum Delivery and the following apply:

  • You have a class 3 driver’s license with air at minimum (class 1 driver’s license would be considered an asset).
  • You have prior truck driving experience.
  • You’re familiar with National Safety Code.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
