The City is looking to hire seasonal Park Rangers in the Parks & Public Facilities for the 2026 season. The anticipated season is April - November 2026.
Performs administrative support work in a variety of recreation activities, programs, events, facility needs, and routine enforcement of park rules and regulations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Works a varied schedule to include days, evenings and weekends. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Parks and Public Facilities Supervisor (“supervisor”).

Selection will be based on overall qualifications, and an interview process. The final candidate selected will be subject to a comprehensive background/reference check commensurate to the position.
High school diploma or GED.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license.
First Aid/CPR Card.
Prior Park Ranger experience.
Ability to complete tasks with minimal on-site supervision.
Experience working in an outdoor environment with extreme temperatures (hot/cold) and wind.
Ability to work late evening shifts.
Prior experience with policy enforcement.
