Job Description

This position involves processing horse racing wagers and cashing winning tickets in a fast-paced environment. The teller will also be responsible for handling IRS documentation for winning tickets, printing programs, and providing excellent customer service to guests. The work environment may involve exposure to various conditions such as smoke and loud noise and requires frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Sell and cash mutuel tickets in strict accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Cash IRS mutuel tickets, complete W-2G information, and follow tracking system procedures.
• Prepare simulcast rooms for daily activities, including setting decoders and printing programs.
• Sell simulcast programs and racing forms using a point-of-sale system.
• Provide exceptional customer service to mutuel guests.
• High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of totalizer equipment, copier equipment, and basic office equipment.
• Knowledge of common and exotic betting types.
• Knowledge of Title 31 and Title 26 tracking systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
