At LEGOLAND New York Resort, we don’t just build with bricks—we build unforgettable memories! From thrilling rides to splash-tastic fun, our resort is packed with AWESOME… and we need YOU to help keep it safe.

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):

Suit up as a Seasonal Lifeguard and become a real-life hero of the water! You’ll be the watchful eye that keeps our guests safe while they laugh, splash, and play.

What You’ll Do (AKA Save the Day):

Stay Alert, Stay Awesome

• Keep constant watch over pool and splash areas
• Spot risks before they become problems
• Enforce safety rules (with a smile!)

Be Ready for Action

• Respond quickly to emergencies
• Perform rescues when needed
• Use first aid, CPR, and AED skills to help guests

Keep It Safe & Clean

• Check equipment and water conditions
• Remove hazards and report anything unsafe
• Help keep the pool area clean and guest-ready

Bring the Fun (Safely!)

• Greet guests and answer questions
• Promote water safety in a friendly, upbeat way
• Stay calm, confident, and positive—even under pressure

Team Up for Safety

• Work closely with fellow lifeguards and staff
• Rotate positions every 20 minutes (sit, stand, stay sharp!)
• Support each other to keep everyone safe

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• At least 16 years old
• Strong swimmer (lifeguard certified? Awesome. Not yet? We’ll train you!)
• Certified in lifeguarding, CPR & First Aid—or ready to earn it
• Alert, responsible, and cool under pressure
• Friendly communicator who enjoys helping people
• Available for summer, weekends, and holidays

What to Expect:

• Outdoor work in all kinds of weather
• Active role with lots of movement and focus
• Shifts typically from 9:30 AM – 5:15 PM
