Hotel Norge by Scandic is one of Bergen’s most well-known hotels, located in the heart of the city. Since opening its doors in 1885, the hotel has been an important meeting place for both locals and international guests. Today, Hotel Norge is a modern and vibrant hotel with high standards, stylish rooms, restaurants, conference facilities and a strong focus on quality in every detail.

We are now looking for dedicated and flexible team members to join our Housekeeping team for seasonal contracts.

As part of our team, you will play an important role in making sure every guest has a great first impression of the hotel. You take pride in your work, enjoy a fast-paced environment and understand that small details make a big difference.

Qualifications

We are looking for team members who are available for daytime, evening, night and weekend shifts during the season.

The ideal candidate should:

• Thrive in a busy and fast-paced working environment
• Be reliable, flexible and responsible
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
• Take pride in cleanliness, quality and good service
• Communicate well in English, Norwegian is an advantage
• Preferably have experience from housekeeping or cleaning, but the right attitude is just as important

Please note that Hotel Norge by Scandic does not offer accommodation or housing for team members. Applicants must therefore have accommodation in Bergen, or be able to arrange this themselves.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks will include:

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms according to our standards
• Making beds and ensuring rooms are ready for arriving guests
• Cleaning bathrooms, corridors and public areas when needed
• Reporting technical issues or maintenance needs
• Helping create a clean, safe and welcoming hotel environment
• Working together with colleagues to deliver great guest experiences every day
