Seasonal Holiday Card Packer

SUMMARY:

This seasonal opportunity is perfect for those looking to earn extra income during the busy holiday season. You will be packing holiday cards, preparing products for shipment, and supporting shipping operations in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required as training is provided, making it a great way to build relevant skills and gain visibility with the hiring team. The role offers a consistent schedule with weekday and weekend shifts through mid-December.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract

PAY RATE: $20 per hour

LOCATION: Des Plaines, IL 60018

SCHEDULE: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM Monday-Friday plus weekend work until December 19

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pack holiday cards and prepare products for shipment.
• Perform shipping, shrink wrapping, and sorting tasks.
• Operate machinery as needed, with training provided.
• Wear identifiable clothing such as colored vests or shirts.
• Work primarily within designated Planet Art work areas and common spaces.
• Be available to work up to 7 days a week from Thanksgiving to just before Christmas.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pick and packing or general warehouse experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic computer skills preferred.
