Job Description

As a PBX Resort Operartor, you'll answer phone calls in a courteous and pleasant manner and refer guests to the correct extensions. With a pleasant and can-do attitude you'll address guest concerns in a friendly and warm manner.

Salary $18.50

This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates:

  • Season Start: May 2026
  • Season End: October 31

Hours will fluctuate as business levels rise and fall throughout the season. Peak season, with the most hours, is typically May – October.

Responsibilities

  • Answering and referring phone calls on the main switchboard;
  • Courteous, timely and accurate when transferring calls, relaying messages and giving information to guests;
  • Receive and send guest faxes;
  • Photocopying;
  • Comply with Suncadia dress code and grooming policy;
  • Process guestroom reservations into Springer Miller during reservations office off-hours;
  • Absorb, understand and continually communicate Suncadia events and activities to guests;
  • Support Front Desk operations with physical coverage as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older;
  • Ability to work well with others and function well in fast paced environment;
  • Able to communicate well with staff and customers;
  • Able to work flexible hours and days;
  • Knowledge of property-wide facilities and services;
  • Possess excellent telephone and organizational skills.
