It is the primary responsibility of the Front Desk Greeter to create a welcoming and efficient arrival experience for all guests by managing lobby flow, answering questions, and providing clear direction throughout the check-in and check-out process.
This role serves as a visible ambassador of Circus Circus, engaging guests in a friendly, approachable manner while maintaining order in a high-volume environment. The Greeter proactively assists with line management, kiosk support, and guest inquiries to ensure a smooth and positive experience from arrival to departure.
All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and Circus Circus policies, with a strong focus on guest service, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
Specific Job Functions:
• Welcome guests to the property with a friendly, engaging, and service-driven approach
• Provide accurate information regarding hotel accommodations, amenities, dining, and entertainment
• Manage lobby flow by directing guests to appropriate front desk windows and minimizing wait times
• Interact with guests in line to provide updates, answer questions, and set expectations for check-in requirements
• Assist guests with express check-out and front desk kiosk usage
• Escort guests to alternate waiting areas when appropriate
• Adjust stanchions and lobby setup to support efficient guest movement
• Promote a clean, organized, and professional lobby environment at all times
• Coordinate with Bell Desk for luggage assistance as needed
• Act as a property ambassador by sharing information about events, shows, and on-site experiences
• Support team members and assist with additional duties as needed for operational success
Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience required
• Previous hospitality or high-volume guest service experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
