Hours of operation:

  • Monday-Sunday 9am-5pm (November- April)
  • Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday-Sunday 9am-9pm (May- October)

Food & Beverage Associate employees will be expected to serve guests in a friendly and responsible manner, inherently protecting the establishment and guests by following safety, sanitation, and alcoholic beverage control policies. All employees are expected to maintain multiple food & beverage venues for business, ensuring all items are available and replenished throughout the day. Employees will be expected to perform “clean-as-you-go” practices to uphold the physical appearance of the Ivy Kitchen, Chill Zone, GOCO Café, and the surrounding areas. Employees should create and follow daily lunch schedules for ideal staffing coverage. All employees and should strive to accomplish daily results by rotating assigned tasks, thus contributing to team effort.

  • Prepares food & beverage outlets for business, display menus, condiments, paper product, stemware, snacks, promotional product, signage, adequate alcohol stock, to set all staff members up for success.
  • Serve every guest with a warm welcome, use their name once established, maintain a genuine demeanor, and complete every interaction with sincerity.
  • Aware of protocol and policy in reacting to unique situations and dealing with an over-beveraged guest; what do in the event a guest needs to be “cut-off”.
  • Help guests select food and beverages by presenting menu; suggesting courses; explaining specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions.
  • Transmits orders to kitchen by recording guests' choices; identifying guests' special dietary needs and special requests.
  • Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting guest counts, operational changes, and guest patterns.
  • Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests' orders from Kitchen if needed.
  • Responds to additional guest requests by inquiring of needs; sharing service details, resort information, amenity locations, classes, entertainment, events, etc

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet guests entering food & beverage establishments
  • Directs and educates guests regarding food & beverage, spa offerings, locations, amenities, & services
  • Controls the flow and demands of guests at food & beverage outlets
  • Anticipates needs and resolves guest complaints in a pleasant and tactful manner
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workplace
  • Follows proper portion control
  • Adheres to all kitchen and food & beverage SOPs
  • Responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures for the position
  • Delivers ice, paper goods, utensils, cups and lids, food & beverage products from storage areas to business outlets as required for the day’s business and monitor all are stocked throughout the day
  • Prepare, blend, pour, garnish, and serve beverages as ordered
  • Use POS system to accurately process guest transactions, receive payments, and issue receipts
  • Identify prices of food & beverage goods, admission, and services offered
  • Performs and works directly with high volume of guests
  • Buss tables in dining areas (push in chairs, sweep, mop, wipe down, replace rugs, menus, and napkins)
  • Ensures complete guest satisfaction
  • Ensures timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders

Ivy Kitchen Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide guests with a smooth dining experience
  • All staff is obligated to work as a team while supporting various moving parts of the Ivy Kitchen
  • restaurant including greeting, bussing, bartending, charging, and directing guests.
  • Maintain Ivy Kitchen standards by keeping it clean, stocked, presentable, and welcoming at all times
  • Expeditiously provide a positive, organized environment for guests in Ivy Kitchen

As a Busser or Expediter, responsibilities may include: clearing, cleaning, and wiping down tables, sweeping, clean spills, pushing in chairs, refilling napkins, wiping down glass doors and windows, taking dishes to kitchen, completing restroom checks, brewing and replenishing iced tea, soda BIBS, refreshing coffee, baking and restocking cookies and snacks, cutting and replenishing fruit, polishing and restocking silverware, bringing paper goods, cups and lids, food & beverage products from storage areas to the Ivy Kitchen as required for the day’s business and monitor all are stocked throughout the day.

As a Wine Bar Attendant, responsibilities may include: assisting bussing, wiping down doors, restocking beer, wine, orange juice, ice, polish and restock stemware, ring up guests, prepare, pour, and serve alcoholic beverages as ordered. While scheduled on Register, responsibilities may include: using POS system to accurately process guest transactions, receive payments, and issue receipts, ensuring all guests are rang up and billed correctly, providing a smooth experience at checkout, assist Busser and Expediterif needed

As a Greeter, responsibilities may include: create a good first impression of the Ivy Kitchen by welcoming guests, courteously direct, limit, control, and prioritize guests to desired ordering station, offer samples, explain menu and layout of restaurant, and keep guests positive by providing excellent service

  • Communicates to Executive Chef of any inconsistencies, patterns, or dietary questions or concerns
  • Ensures timely and accurate delivery of food orders in the Ivy Kitchen
  • Turnover Ivy Kitchen for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for twilight service
  • Aware of personal limits pertaining to one’s own safety regarding physical exhaustion, working in the heat, when to take breaks, and when to ask for help
  • Answers all radio calls for Ivy Kitchen and communicate relevant information to F&B team

GOCO Café Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve guests coffee, tea, blended beverages, selected beer and wine, and lunch items
  • Ability to explain the difference between GOCO Café and Starbucks®
  • Maintain GOCO Cafe standards by keeping it clean, stocked, presentable, and welcoming at all times
  • Follow Starbucks® and Glen Ivy food & Beverage policies
  • Expeditiously provide a positive, organized environment for guests in GOCO Café
  • Safely brew Starbucks® coffee blends, cold brew, iced coffee, iced tea, and espresso
  • Operate espresso machine safely to steam milk, and pour espresso shots
  • Operate blender safely to make Starbucks Frappuccino(s)™
  • Safely operate Turbo Chef™ oven to warm up pastries and sandwiches
  • Safely clean blenders, coffee urns, espresso machine, and ovens following GOCO Café guidelines
  • Safely make whipped cream using cartridges, containers, and cream base
  • Prepare, blend, pour, garnish, and serve guest beverages as ordered
  • Use POS system to accurately process guest transactions, receive payments, and issue receipts, ensuring all guests are rang up and billed correctly, providing a smooth experience at checkout
  • Replenish GOCO Café milk & sugar bar
  • Performs and works directly with high volume of guests
  • Buss tables in dining areas (push in chairs, sweep, mop, wipe down, replace rugs, and napkins)
  • Restock cutlery, paper goods, cups, lids, and straws
  • Retrieve food & beverage products from storage and kitchen areas to the GOCO Cafe as required for the day’s business and monitor all are stocked throughout the day.

Chill Zone Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve guests juices, smoothies, frozen yogurt, beer, and assorted snacks
  • Maintain Chill Zone standards by keeping it clean, stocked, presentable, and welcoming at all times
  • Expeditiously provide a positive, organized environment for guests served at the Chill Zone
  • Safely operate juicer from ingredients made to order
  • Safely operate blender from frozen & fresh ingredients made to order
  • Safely operate frozen yogurt machine
  • Safely clean blenders, juicer, and frozen yogurt machines following Chill Zone guidelines
  • Prepare, juice, blend, pour, garnish, and serve guest beverages as ordered
  • Use POS system to accurately process guest transactions, receive payments, and issue receipts, ensuring all guests are rang up and billed correctly, providing a smooth experience at checkout
  • Replenish fresh and frozen stock as necessary
  • Performs and works directly with high volume of guests
