This job opportunity is a bona fide, F/T temporary position for 51 landscape laborer from 2/3/2026 to 11/13/2026 with Shooter & Lindsey LLC 27271 Katy Freeway Apt 309, Katy, TX 77494 (239) 268-6849

- - - Move soil, materials to install landscape; Workers will dig holes for trees, plants and trenches using shovels, spades, & round point shovels (up to 8" wide & 18" deep for irrigation sprinklers; 2' wide & 3' deep for drainage). Weed, mulch, mow, trim, clean up. Operate small equipment. Qualified licensed workers may be eligible to drive company vehicles to and from the branch and/or various job sites. Lift/carry up to 50 pounds

40 hours per week; 07:00 am - 03:30pm Mon-Fri; work extended daily hours and weekends when necessary.

Employer paid drug test is Post Accident, Random (post-employment), Upon Suspicion (Post Employment)

No experience/education.

$17.42 per hour;$26.13/OT; Overtime is not guaranteed but if worked rate is paid at time and a half per hour above 40 hours per week. Raise/bonus at employer's discretion. Opportunity for higher pay based on experience/performance.

Returning workers who received a performance-based increase in the previous season or prior may be paid a higher rate than above.

- - - A single workweek will be used in computing the wage due. Payday is Weekly on Friday.

Employer is not responsible for securing housing for employees. However, if the employer identifies available housing, seasonal full-time employees may choose to live there voluntarily. In this case, the employee agrees to pay the property landlord or responsible entity directly. Otherwise, the employer may deduct up to $200 per week from the employees pay for reasonable housing costs (rent and utilities), depending on the number of occupants. Employees may arrange their own housing at their expense. The employer does not provide transportation for commuting to and from work. However, if the employer offers transportation, seasonal full-time employees may opt to use this service voluntarily. In this case, the employee agrees to pay the transportation company or independent driver directly. Otherwise, the employer may deduct up to $75 per week from the employee's pay for reasonable transportation costs.

Deductions: all deductions required by law, cash advances and repayment of loans, repayment of overpayment of wages to the worker, payment for articles which the worker has voluntarily purchased from the employer, recovery of any loss to the employer due to the worker's damage (beyond normal wear and tear) or loss of equipment where it is shown that the worker is responsible, and any other reasonable deductions expressly authorized by the worker in writing. No deduction not required by law will be made that brings the workers hourly earnings below the FLSA Federal statutory minimum wage.

If an employee is eligible and elects to participate in employer-sponsored healthcare benefits, the employer will deduct the applicable premiums from the employees weekly pay. Employees are required to wear company-issued uniform shirts and a hat. The employer will provide an initial uniform package of 5 shirts and 1 hat. If employees choose to purchase additional uniform items, the associated costs will be deducted from their weekly paycheck until such costs are recouped.

Employer provides transportation from central location to and from job sites. There is no itinerary involved as there are multiple locations in Galveston, Brazoria, Harris, Fort Bend, Walker, Montgomery, Liberty, Chambers

- - - Return transportation and daily subsistence paid or provided if worker completes employment period or is dismissed early by employer. Outbound transportation is paid/provided at most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation rates for distances involved, where applicable.

- - - Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).

- - - The employer provides at no charge all required tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job.

- - - For eligible workers, the Employer will reimburse inbound travel costs not already paid in advance no later than the 50 percent of the work period (or with the first paycheck if applicable under FLSA). Inbound travel includes transportation costs from workers permanent residence or place of recruitment to the place of employment, a daily subsistence for meals, and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Transportation reimbursements based on workers actual cost, not to exceed the most economicalcommon commercial carrier transportation costs for distances involved. The employer reserves right to assist in coordinating transportation. Workers who do not avail themselves of such available transportation will be reimbursed only the per worker cost of arranged transportation or most economical and reasonable common commercial carrier transportation cost for distances involved, whichever is less. Workers are free to make own inbound transportation, assuming all liability and hold harmless employer for any damages, injuries, personal or property losses. Subsistence reimbursements based on rates specified in the Federal Register Daily (currently $16.28 per day minimum, or $68 per day maximum for workers with acceptable receipts).
