The role
As a Compounder, you will develop into a technical expert across our formulas, raw materials, and manufacturing processes. You will be essential in ensuring our products meet Lush standards before moving to pressing, filling, or pouring.
We are looking for someone who loves our business, our ethics, and can't wait to put their face on some products! Because we get incredibly busy, you'll need to thrive under pressure and bring a flexible attitude.

Location: Villawood, NSW. Leightonfield Station is only a short walk from our site, and onsite parking is also available.

Employment type: Fixed-term full-time contract of up to 6 months

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Following the formula to maintain the highest possible quality & consistency.
- Weighing accurately and paying high attention to detail.
- Being able to identify all raw materials within your Department and reporting any quality concerns.
- Following the correct procedure for recording waste - entering materials & finished products into MFG.
- Assisting with other production tasks when needed - we work as a team!
Desired Skills
We're looking for someone who:
- Has practical and applied math skills including: weighing, counting, converting, multiplying and subtraction
- Ideally has experience in Manufacturing and can work with powders
- Is open to a diverse workplace and loves to work with a team
- Has good communication skills
- Is self-motivated and able to use their own initiative
- Has a keen eye for detail
- Can work in a fast-paced environment
You will also be required to do the following:
- Wear Safety boots (we will reimburse up to $100 spent)
- Reach production levels
- Be physically capable of fulfilling the role, including standing for 38 hours per week, lifting, and performing manual tasks
