The Seasonal Clean Sweep driver (Season is between March through December, 9-11 hours a day, overnight and Saturday availability required as needed) is responsible for servicing assigned route(s) while operating a motorized street sweeper to clean streets and other LRS customers within the Clean Sweep Division. The driver represents the company in a safe and respectable manner while servicing customer accounts dispatched to him/her throughout the day and communicating regularly with dispatchers and supervisors.

Responsibilities
· Operate the truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
· Clean streets, gutters, and other assigned areas (parking lots, construction sites, etc.)
· Complete assigned routes
· Communicate with dispatch as route changes or issues arise
· Maintain and update route sheets
· Conduct pre-trip/post trip vehicle inspections
· Maintain and update drivers log sheets
· Professional interaction with internal and external customers
· Keeping truck clean and operating properly within driver’s ability
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills
· Ability to read and understand a map
· Ability to perform physical requirements of the job such as prolonged physical exertions
· Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays
· Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
· Previous CDL truck driving experience preferred
· Waste industry experience is a plus
· Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department, or line of business
· Eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must have at least a valid Class B CDL
· Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire
· Must not have any DUI’s or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
· Must not have any license suspensions within the last 2 years
· No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
· Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
· Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
· Occasionally required to stand and walk
· Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
· Some regional travel required
