Overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, you will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels like a VIP. You are responsible for developing a menu that creates unique dining experiences that will leave our guests in awe. As a Beverage Manager, you’re not just elevating the dining experience – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

As the Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Operations

  • Ensure that the F&B team is well trained to offer a luxurious dining experience to the guest including inventory management and service protocol.

  • Follow the safety & security guidelines set by the company/hotel at all times

  • Ensure that there is proper follow up and completion of all the tasks in the duty shift checklists

  • Leave management and rostering for the F&B team when necessary.

  • Responsible for sales and proper inventory count.

  • Management of daily inventory count as set by the standard operating procedure of the F&B operation.

  • Understands the full product knowledge.

  • Manage operations efficiently including outlet display, sales, pricing of beverage, receiving and inventory control

  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly

  • To be well aware of the trends in the market.

  • Responsible for relevant report

  • Working towards achieving the daily/monthly revenue targets

  • Accurate forecasting and budgeting for Food & Beverage

  • Monitor departmental P&L and account for expenses of the department.

  • Develop and ensure that departmental standard operating procedures are adhered.

  • Performance management of the F&B team in collaboration with Human Resources when required.

  • Working closely with related departments such as Front Office and Kitchen to ensure F&B experience for the guests is unparalleled.

  • To be flexible, responding quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.

  • To maintain high Team focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.

  • To contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures in the Resort.

  • To actively promote the services and facilities of the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island and the Conrad Hotels and Resorts to guests and suppliers of the Resort.

  • To perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that ensures your safety and that of others in your workplace.

  • To ensure that the Conrad Brand Standards are fully implemented and demonstrated by all Members of the Team.

  • To be fully familiar with the Conrad Brand Standards and the Quality Assurance Audit and to follow standards of service at all times.

  • To contribute positively to Stay Inspired by providing both guests and fellow Team Members through Flawless, Innovative, Authentic and Personalized service, seeking to always maintain a pleasant and hassle-free working environment

  • To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times by adhering to the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island Grooming Standards.

  • To report to work punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times.

  • To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the resort’s policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.

  • To takes direction from and carry out any requests by management in conjunction with work.

  • To provide guests with friendly, efficient, accurate and polite service at all times.

  • To keep up-to-date with the SALT (Satisfaction and Loyalty Tracking) results and to seek to positively influence these results by following the Conrad Brand Standards.

  • To maintain a high guest service focus by approaching your job with the guests always in mind and being proactive in a timely manner towards their needs and requests.

Safety

  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health and safety. Team Members will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.
  • Ensure that the HiltonCleanStay guidelines, policies, procedures, rules & regulations are adhered to.
  • Ensure that team members meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety & welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily outlet operations to ensure smooth service and adherence to brand standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high performance.
  • Guest Experience Management: Ensure personalized service, handle guest feedback, and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and control costs to optimize profitability.
  • Sales & Revenue Support: Drive upselling initiatives, monitor sales performance, and support revenue targets.
  • Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all outlet areas.
  • Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments for seamless service delivery.
  • Food Safety Regulations: Ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • Experience as a Beverage Manager or equivalent in a luxury brand
  • 1-3 work experience in a remote location
  • WSET qualification – Level 3
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus
  • Excellent communication, grooming, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Friendly, professional, and guest-focused
  • Able to work flexible shifts
  • Experience as a Beverage Manager or equivalent in a luxury brand
  • Degree in Hospitality or equivalent
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Excellent leadership skills and previous experience of managing a team
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Exceptional communication skills
