Seasonal Banquet Server | Gold Mountain Golf Club

Seasonal Position expected to end on or around December 31st, 2026.

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service for events hosted at Gold Mountain, including weddings, tournaments, corporate outings, member events, and private functions. This role ensures guests receive professional, courteous, and efficient service while maintaining the high standards of our premier golf property. You are a vital to creating a successful experience for each guest.

What Success Looks Like

  • Set up banquet rooms, outdoor event spaces, and dining areas according to event specifications (tables, linens, place settings, décor, buffets, bars).
  • Serve plated meals, buffet stations, hors d’oeuvres, and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide attentive guest service, responding promptly to requests and special dietary needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events.
  • Assist with event breakdown, including clearing tables, storing equipment, and resetting rooms.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and event coordinators to ensure seamless service.
  • Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

What you Bring

  • Previous experience as server in a similar restaurant or event space environment
  • Working knowledge of event service procedures
  • Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • Necessary County Food Handler’s Permit and State Alcohol Serving Permit
  • Must have a fairly flexible schedule and be able to work A.M. or P.M. shifts including weekends & holidays. Open availability is preferred.
  • 18+ years of age
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Stunning views and delicious cuisine combine to offer relaxation and great memories under the roof of Gold Mountain's clubhouse, as well as the ability to host 300 guests for special events. All classes of golfer - from novice to scratch - will find an enjoyable, playable experience. The outstanding conditioning of the courses matched the beauty of the setting. Gold Mountain Golf Club has hosted the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship and the 2015 NCAA Men's Regional Championship.
