The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented Seasonal Accounts Payable Clerk to be responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products for our business. Seasonal Accounts Payable Clerks work in our tomato paste, pizza sauce, salsa, peeled pear canned tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, and tomato sauce production area in Escalon, CA. Under the direction of the Plant Buyer, the person selected for this position will be expected to become familiar with all aspects of receiving and processing invoices, tracking purchase orders, processing payments and provide cross-functional support to their assigned business unit. The Accounts Payable Clerk must work closely with the other members of the Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance teams and provide support to the cross functional departments.
Wage Rate: $25.50
Work Schedule:
Monday-Saturday 8AM-5PM during the months of July October subject to 7 days
Overtime may be available based on business needs during off season

As an Accounts Payable Clerk you’ll see first-hand how our tomatoes go from farm to table. You’ll be a front of the line employee who will contribute to our continuous growth.
May include, but isn’t limited to:
Working within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products
Scheduling of transportation for ingredients
Assisting the Supply Chain Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis
Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate
Processing purchase orders, track orders and maintain an inventory
Build relationships with suppliers
Research, select and purchase quality products, materials and supplies
Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery
Weekly ordering of packaging material
Daily reconciliation of purchase orders
Manage plant procurement activities for packaging materials and supplies
Maintain vendor accounts - coordinate orders, shipping, invoices, delivery
Daily inventory count supplies, such as cans during summer
Qualifications:
A/P experience preferred
SAP knowledge preferred
An understanding of purchase order software platforms (MRP) manufacturing resource planning preferred
Attention to detail for accuracy
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
