About the team
Aim to support TikTok’s vertical search business, serving global users’ discovery needs. Centered on user intent understanding, the team conducts user-centric experience evaluations and assesses model and strategy capabilities to identify key gaps and opportunities in search performance. In close partnership with Product and Engineering, we define, optimize, and iterate search product features and strategies to deliver accurate, high-quality content and services, driving better user experience and business outcomes.
- Lead product operations for TikTok’s vertical search business, driving user experience optimization, strategy iteration, and business growth across multiple search scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with Product Manager, R&D, Data Science, and other cross-functional teams to support the full lifecycle of core strategies, from problem definition and opportunity identification to solution design, agile iteration, impact validation, and full-scale rollout.
- Leverage deep understanding of content ecosystems and user search intent to identify experience blind spots, supply gaps, and growth opportunities through deep-dive research and data/case/feedback analysis. Define the "Ideal State" for core scenarios to provide logical inputs and directional guidance for product optimization.
- Continuously monitor online search experience and core business metrics. Establish and improve a complete bad case management workflow covering issue discovery, severity grading, root-cause analysis, and resolution tracking. Proactively represent the user perspective to drive technical teams toward issue resolution and quality improvement. Conduct necessary intervention operations under compliance guidelines to safeguard core online experiences.
- Act as a hub for cross-regional and cross-timezone collaboration in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment. Efficiently coordinate with different teams to independently drive complex projects and flexibly support urgent business needs, ensuring the accuracy of strategy verification and successful implementation.
