Dear Search & ML Data Scientists,

We are currently looking for multiple Search & ML Data Scientists for one of the leading retail companies in Europe. The position is 100% remote and long-term.

• Capacity: full-time, part-time also possible

• Central European Time

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with Python and SQL, including hands-on work with large-scale behavioral and transactional data.
• Experience in search, recommendations, ranking, personalization, or information retrieval.
• Experience across the full ML lifecycle, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and monitoring in production.
• Understanding of relevance and ranking metrics such as NDCG, MRR, Recall, and Precision, and how they relate to online business metrics.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests for ranking systems; cloud-based ML platforms (ideally GCP with BigQuery and Vertex AI), vector search, and query understanding are a plus.
