Seafood Assistant

New World Halswell is locally owned and operated with a reputation for an extensive range of quality seafood.

We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area and we need innovative and customer-focused team members to join our Seafood Department. As a member of our team, your primary focus will be on delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have access to a wide variety of quality seafood products.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering outstanding customer service and building rapport with customers
• Maintaining a high standard of merchandising and product presentation
• Carry out daily packing and labeling of products
• Receive and display daily inwards supplies
• Assist with general product preparation and production
• Maintain a high standard of Food & Workplace Safety

Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred, but not required as full training will be provided.

The hours for the role are:

• Wednesday 4.00pm-8.00pm
• Saturday 4.00pm-8.00pm
