Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITY:

This role is responsible for the entire P&L management of the Estane business in South East Asia (SEA), leading and overseeing all commercial activities in the region, including managing strategic accounts and distributors, developing and executing strategic plans to convert identified new business opportunities and projects into sales, and ensuring the successful commercialization of projects across Southeast Asian countries for both Engineering Polymers (EP) and Medical Solutions (MS) business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own Revenue and Profitability objectives for EP&MS business in SEA.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account plans aligned with business strategies for customers in existing market segments.
  • Expand and manage business operations for assigned accounts and territories, ensuring growth and sustainability.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with distributors and key accounts, building exceptional customer rapport.
  • Lead growth initiatives and facilitate the introduction of new products within the business.
  • Develop, negotiate, and close sales contracts and agreements, ensuring beneficial terms for all parties.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key processors and players in identified market segments, assisting the marketing manager in segment development.
  • Keep up with market and consumer trends, identifying new opportunities and new routes to markets.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance the organization capability.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related major, MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experiences in chemistry industry, polymer industry is preferred.
  • Proven experience in business management or a related field, with a focus on commercial activities in SEA.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive business growth.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in handling administrative duties.
  • Ability to successfully navigate multicultural environments and communicate with global and regional teams.
  • Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial individual with a positive attitude and great interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
  • Willing to travel within the region and occasionally internationally.
