Now you have the opportunity to get a student job that is both fun and great for your CV. Especially if you want to work with - or have an interest in - media and communication. It's a job where you get to work with video and social media in collaboration with others, but you also have to be very proactive yourself.
You will work to produce tall format videos primarily for this international profile: https://www.instagram.com/uni_in_denmark/
The team you will be a part of also produce the videos for this profile: https://www.instagram.com/syddansk_universitet/
You should be up for being both in front of and behind the camera, which is typically an iPhone - bubbled up with some good sound and good light.
You should be able to edit video on a basic level, and you want to learn more. You'll be part of a creative team with a high regard for producing for social media. But you are the main driver for this in Sønderborg although you’ll have a full time employee on campus as closest colleague and for sparring. Working with SoMe at SDU also requires a good sense of how a university can communicate. You will be involved in dialogues about this.
We encourage you to apply for the position if you can
SDU's central communication department, which among other things runs all of SDU's major verified channels on SoMe. Your physical workplace is SDU Sønderborg.
Attach a creative video application of maximum 1 minute on a link we can access until the 27th of September, a CV with relevant experience + any examples of relevant production or public profiles on social media no later than 21st of September at 23:59 which is the application deadline.
Interviews will be held immediately afterwards.
Start: As soon as possible.
You will be paid (5 hours per week, 16 weeks per semester) under SDU's Communications Department according to the current collective agreement (HK student rate). Working hours are flexible and are jointly organised in consideration of your studies. However, it is a requirement that you are able to come into the office (in-person meeting) once a week during normal office hours, and you are expected to shoot and edit mostly on campus where the advantage of that is instant feedback from your closest colleague on campus. Working from home is also a possibility to a limited extent.
Salary is determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the content of the position, level of responsibility, and qualification requirements.
As an applicant, you are entitled to information regarding the starting salary and salary range for the position. This information is available during the recruitment process.
SDU does not request or obtain information about applicants' previous salaries.
If you have any questions about the position, you are very welcome to contact SDU's Social Media Manager Martin Juul Hyldahl at 61697868 or maskh@sdu.dk
