We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive quality engineering initiatives through robust test automation, API testing, and framework development. This role focuses on building scalable automation solutions across web applications and services, ensuring product reliability, performance, and seamless user experiences. You will work closely with development, product, and QA teams to establish quality standards, automate testing processes, and proactively identify issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web-based applications and APIs.
• Create, execute, and manage automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and related automation tools.
• Develop and maintain REST API automation frameworks to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple application environments.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate defects effectively while working closely with engineering teams to drive resolution.
• Analyze application behavior, troubleshoot issues, and debug complex automation or product-related problems.
• Continuously improve existing automation frameworks for maintainability, scalability, and execution efficiency.
• Manage automation reporting, test execution results, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and version control systems like Git
• Participate in test planning, feature reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance activities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in test automation, coding standards, and software quality processes.
• Support cloud-based product testing and contribute to overall platform reliability and performance validation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve release quality and accelerate delivery cycles.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5–7 years of experience in SDET, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Selenium, and automation framework development.
• Proven expertise in API Testing and building automated API validation suites.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and testing lifecycles.
• Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and debugging complex issues.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control platforms like Git
• Ability to analyze application bottlenecks, investigate reported issues, and deliver reliable solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS or enterprise software testing environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
