Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and motivated SDA Maintenance Manager to lead the delivery of planned, preventative, and compliance maintenance across our Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) portfolio.

This role is critical in ensuring our properties are safe, compliant, and well-maintained – supporting positive outcomes for our customers and meeting operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for asset performance across the SDA portfolio
  • Oversee development and delivery of 5-year lifecycle plans and 12-month maintenance schedules
  • Ensure all statutory, contractual, and SDA Practice Standards compliance requirements are met
  • Manage preventive and planned maintenance programs, ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget
  • Oversee budget management, forecasting, lifecycle planning, and cost control
  • Monitor contractor performance, procurement, and value-for-money outcomes
  • Collaborate with customers, SIL providers, and stakeholders to ensure safe access and minimal disruption

REQUIREMENTS

  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NSW Driver’s Licence and insured vehicle
  • Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience managing teams (minimum 3 years)
  • Customer service experience (phone and face-to-face)
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and WHS requirements

DESIRABLE

  • Experience in social housing
  • Trade background or relevant industry experience
  • White Card (or willingness to obtain)
