On behalf of Gaming Client #1, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Senior UI / 2D Artist.

We are looking for a Senior UI / 2D Artist with exceptional visual craft and a strong understanding of UX to create premium, highly polished interfaces for a mobile social casino game

This is a hands-on artistic role for someone who can take a game feature from an initial idea or UX flow to a fully realized, production-ready visual experience The ideal candidate combines strong UI thinking with outstanding 2D execution and understands how to make casino features feel intuitive, exciting, valuable, and visually rewarding

We are looking for an artist who can consistently push the final result toward premium social casino quality — bold, rich, exciting, and more visually spectacular than reality.

Responsibilities:

• Design complete UI solutions for game features, from UX structure and interaction logic to final polished visual execution.
• Create premium pop-ups, win screens, reward screens, feature screens, buttons, panels, frames, icons, badges, banners, promotional elements, and other game UI assets
• Translate Game Design and Product requirements into clear, intuitive, and visually compelling player experiences.
• Apply strong UX thinking when defining information hierarchy, user flows, interactions, CTA priority, and overall feature clarity.
• Create highly polished, dimensional UI with a strong sense of depth, lighting, materials, contrast, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Work confidently with typography and advanced text treatments, including dimensional lettering, gradients, bevels, shadows, highlights, glows, and premium title treatments.
• Create convincing luxury materials and effects such as gold, polished metal, glass, gems, glossy surfaces, reflections, illumination, glow, and rich decorative details
• Maintain excellent readability and usability even within visually rich and highly detailed casino compositions.
• Explore visual solutions quickly and turn concepts into high-quality, production-ready assets within project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Game Designers, Product, and Development teams, while taking ownership of UI quality and visual execution.

Requirements:

• Senior-level portfolio demonstrating exceptional game UI and 2D visual design skills.
• Strong experience in mobile games, ideally social casino, slots, casino, or other highly polished game products.
• Excellent command of Adobe Photoshop and professional 2D art workflows.
• Exceptional skills in typography and text effects, with the ability to create expressive, highly polished game titles and messaging.
• Strong icon design and rendering skills, including clear silhouettes, dimensionality, material definition, and premium finish.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, player flows, interaction design, information hierarchy, and feature usability.
• Ability to independently think through how a game feature should work — not only how it should look.
• Advanced understanding of composition, color, lighting, contrast, materials, depth, and visual hierarchy
• Strong ability to create realistic and semi-realistic rendered UI rather than relying primarily on flat or vector-based design.
• Ability to work quickly, independently, and consistently at a high quality bar, including under changing production requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to push artwork from a good first pass to a truly polished, premium final result.

Advantage:

• 3D knowledge or experience with tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, or similar.
• Ability to use 3D as part of the UI art workflow for icons, objects, materials, lighting, perspective, or base renders, followed by high-quality 2D paint-over and polish.
• Experience creating assets and visual systems specifically for slot or social casino games
• Understanding of animation/VFX principles for UI, including glows, light sweeps, particles, reward reveals, and win celebrations.

Visual Quality & Style

The UI should feel rich, dimensional, glossy, illuminated, tactile, and highly polished Reflective gold, luminous gems, dramatic lighting, premium materials, bold typography, strong contrast, and theatrical effects are key parts of the visual language.

Special attention is given to pop-ups, win screens, rewards, promotional features, and major player moments — these should feel like visually impactful events rather than standard interface screens.

The goal is to create UI that is not only beautiful, but also immediately readable and intuitive the player should quickly understand what happened, what is valuable, and what action to take next.
