On behalf of HealthTech Client #3, SD Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Backend Engineer with a passion for startups and ideally genuine interest in ML and Data to join our team

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of critical backend services within the Opmed.ai’s product
• Design & Implement architectural improvements to enable scalability and robustness of our backend solution
• Design and maintain schemas and data structures for our product.
• Develop data integration processes and pipelines
• Create ETL/Streaming processes to ingest & transform diverse data from customers
• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer in a fast-paced SaaS environment
• At least 3 years of experience in backend development - preferably Python, relevant web frameworks (eg., Django, Flask…) and data manipulation libraries
• REST API design and development experience
• Experience in a Cloud Native environment, such as AWS - a must.
• Experience with both relational databases - e.g., PostgreSQL / MySQL - and NoSQL DBs
• Excellent knowledge of SQL with advanced analytics data orientation
• Very good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts
• Experience with Code Testing methodologies and frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies
• Comfortable with using Git source version control and issue tracking systems
• Strong expertise in agile development and ability to adapt to changing business priorities
• Can-do approach, critical thinking, thirst for knowledge, and drive for bringing real impact
• Accountability & high sense of ownership for your work
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Advantages:

• A Solid experience as a Backend and Data Engineer or a similar role working with data.
• Experience in building scalable data pipelines & the challenges involved
• Background in MLOps
