On behalf of SciPlay, SD Solutions is looking for a talented Senior Kubernetes / DevOps Engineer to lead the modernization and migration of their legacy infrastructure stack toward containerization and cloud-native practices.

Our current on-prem infrastructure includes a traditional LAMP stack, Couchbase, VMware, F5, Pure Storage SAN solutions, and Grafana-based observability. The right candidate will be strong in classic infrastructure engineering and systems administration, while also bringing a modernization mindset as we continue moving toward containers, Kubernetes, and an internal developer platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration from legacy stack (LAMP, Couchbase, Apache, PHP, Linux) to containers and Kubernetes
• Build and manage Kubernetes clusters, including control plane setup
• Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration, deployment, and monitoring
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
• Work on observability (Grafana, Prometheus, alerts, dashboards)
• Partner with development teams to improve deployment reliability and environment consistency
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code, runbooks, and documentation
• Support Linux production systems and participate in the on-call rotation

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles
• Strong Kubernetes experience — building clusters, control plane, orchestration (not just basic usage)
• Deep Linux system administration skills
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
• CI/CD pipelines knowledge
• Excellent English communication skills (critical)

Advantages:

• Previous experience with Couchbase, LAMP stack, or the gaming industry
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls)
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Background in building Internal Developer Platforms
