On behalf of Wider (ex. HyperAd), SD Solutions is looking for a talented Senior AI Video Systems Engineer to lead the development of intelligent video-driven systems and integrations.

This role is for someone who deeply understands video editing tools, video workflows, and the language of video production, and can bridge the gap between software engineering and professional video editors.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building plugins, extensions, or integrations for video editing platforms and understands how to translate AI capabilities into real-world video production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build AI-powered systems for video processing and editing workflows
• Develop plugins and integrations for professional video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci, etc.)
• Bridge between backend AI systems and video editing software
• Translate AI outputs (analysis, tagging, generation, automation) into usable video editing features
• Work closely with video editors and product teams to understand real production workflows
• Optimize performance for video-heavy pipelines
• Ensure stability and scalability of video-related systems
• Drive innovation in AI-assisted video automation and enhancement

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience working with video editing tools and video production workflows
• Proven experience building plugins/extensions/SDK integrations for video software
• Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, timelines, rendering pipelines, and media processing
• Experience with Python and/or C++ (depending on integration layer)
• Experience with AI/ML systems, especially applied to video (computer vision, tagging, generation, etc.)
• Experience building production-grade systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Adobe SDKs (Premiere Pro / After Effects)
• Experience with FFmpeg and video processing pipelines
• Experience with GPU acceleration and performance optimization
• Understanding of post-production workflows
• Experience integrating AI APIs into creative tools
