Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
• Assist with tax filings, including sales/use tax and other statutory requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (public or industry)
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, and Build.com
• Ramp (credit card processing)—nice to have
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  

Advantages:

• CPA or CPA-eligible a plus
• Experience with ERP systems
