Responsibilities:

• Post weekly bank transactions and reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Prepare intercompany fund transfer journal entries.
• Maintain the fixed assets register; record fixed asset additions and depreciation; and perform monthly fixed asset reconciliations.
• Reconcile deposits and other asset accounts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet and P&L flux analysis and summarize key drivers/variances.
• Prepare supporting schedules, documentation, and account analyses for audits.
• Report to the Accounting Manager and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support accounting system implementations and transformation initiatives to automate and improve the close process.
• Assist the GL team with ad-hoc analyses and special projects; collaborate cross-functionally as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; experience in financial services, fintech, and/or SaaS strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting and month-end/year-end close.
• Experience supporting international operations, multiple legal entities, and intercompany transactions.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and the relationship between cash activity and balance sheet/P&L accounts.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF functions, SUMIFS).
• Tech-savvy; experience with ERP and reporting systems required—NetSuite experience highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
