The incumbent will have the responsibility for:

1. Scrum framework application:

• Ensure that development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices

• Lead end-to-end project management initiatives, ensuring high quality solutions that align with the Bank vision and strategy

• Facilitate meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments and to facilitate the Teams daily work and all Scrum events

• Ensure that the Team is fully functional and productive

• Collect metrics on the Team and Sprint to help the team improve

• Remove the obstacles or impediments faced by the team in its work.

2. Stakeholder management and coaching:

• Coach the Team members in self-organization and cross-functional behaviour

• Foster a collaborative environment among team members and stakeholders

• Ensure that the Team follows their process and pursues continuous innovation in their practices

• Help the Team members achieve optimum productivity by following best practices

• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions preparing for future Sprints

• Help Product Owner protect the Team from outside interruptions

• Working with other Scrum Masters to increase effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization

• Understand the technical challenges and constraints the development team faces

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in IT related domain / MIS

• PMI PMP or Agile related certificates SCM or PMI-ACP

• At least +3 years experience in banking sector

Skills:

• Project management task boards and collaboration and documentation software, including calendars

• Proficient use of software applications and project management tools i.e. JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel and MS Power Point.

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life cycle

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Strong understanding of Scum Ceremonies with proven track of actually conducting the ceremonies
