Primary Purpose
Supports effective Scrum delivery by applying Agile practices, facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. Monitors team performance through metrics and maintains comprehensive project documentation to enable consistent, high‑quality delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures the team adheres to scrum practices and principles, guiding them in maintaining focus on sprint goals and delivering high-quality increments.
- Acts as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, issues, and changes in priorities.
- Documents project information, including objectives, scope, justification, scheduling, budgeting, communication strategy, risk identification and mitigation, and project activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Monitors and reports on team progress, using tools like burndown charts and other metrics to provide transparency and insights into the team's performance and velocity.
- Identifies and removes any impediments that are blocking the team's progress covering technical, procedural, or resourcing issues.
- Facilitates daily standups, iteration reviews and iteration planning ceremonies to ensure full team engagement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
- Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
- Required: Typically requires 5 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Required: Agile Methodologies - A project management approach utilized in software development, which is characterized by the division of tasks into short phases of work (known as sprints) and frequent reassessment and adaptation of plans.
- Required: Project/Program Management - The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
- Required: Requirements Management - The process of documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing and agreeing on requirements and then controlling change and communicating to relevant stakeholders.
- Required: Continuous Improvement - An ongoing effort to improve processes, systems, and practices by regularly assessing performance and implementing incremental changes.
- Required: Product Backlog Management - A prioritized list of work for the development team that is derived from the roadmap and its requirements. The most important items are shown at the top of the product backlog so the team knows what to deliver first.
- Required: Coaching - Supports talent in achieving a specific personal or professional goal.
- Required: Epic/User Story Development - Describes and outlines a general explanation of a software or product feature written from the perspective of the end users to ensure the software or product will provide value to customers. Specifically, Epics are large bodies of work that can be broken down into a number of smaller tasks (called stories). Stories, also called “user stories,” are short requirements or requests written from the perspective of an end user.
- Required: Program Increment (PI) Design - Facilitates a collaborative focused planning process among teams, stakeholders and product owners to review program backlog and align on a committed roadmap.
- Required: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - A process used by the software industry to design, develop and test high quality softwares.
- Required: Issue Resolution - Addressing problems that need to be solved, the decisions that need to be made, and the risks that need to be mitigated.
