Mission Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer to support the "Prescriptions" program. The selected professional will support four teams operating in the following domains: medicinal prescriptions, referral prescriptions, referral prescription support, and the mobile application Myhealth. These are long-term, multi-year projects with significant strategic importance.

Each team is led by a project manager working according to the PRINCE2 framework. The teams themselves follow a Scrum-based way of working, with the referral prescription teams applying the SAFe framework for quarterly planning. The client provides both a Product Owner and a Project Manager for each track.

We are looking for a senior professional who can combine strong methodological expertise with a pragmatic mindset. The ideal candidate demonstrates sufficient assertiveness to guide development teams and the client in consistently applying the chosen methodologies, with adequate tailoring, ensuring core agile values remain intact. This role also requires the ability to navigate organizational complexities, where certain roles (such as project managers) may not fully align with a strictly agile framework. Given that communication is crucial in this role, a good command of French, Dutch, and English is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support four teams across medicinal prescriptions, referral prescriptions, referral prescription support, and the Myhealth mobile application.
• Guide development teams and the client in the consistent application of selected methodologies, tailoring where appropriate while preserving core agile values.
• Facilitate Scrum-based ways of working for all teams.
• Enable SAFe-aligned quarterly planning for referral prescription teams.
• Collaborate effectively within a governance context where each team is led by a project manager following PRINCE2.
• Work with client-provided Product Owners and Project Managers for each track.
• Navigate organizational complexities and reconcile interactions between agile delivery and roles that may not fully align to a strictly agile framework.
• Promote clear, multilingual communication across French, Dutch, and English.

Join Keystone Solutions as an experienced Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer on a consultancy mission with our client in the public healthcare domain. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will support four teams operating in the following domains: medicinal prescriptions, referral prescriptions, referral prescription support, and a mobile health application. These are all long-term, multi-year projects with significant strategic importance. Each team is led by a project manager working according to the PRINCE2 framework. The teams themselves follow a Scrum-based way of working, with the referral prescription teams applying the SAFe framework for quarterly planning. The client provides both a Product Owner and a Project Manager for each track. You will perform all responsibilities in close collaboration with the client while being fully supported by Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support four agile teams across medicinal prescriptions, referral prescriptions, referral prescription support, and a mobile health application, ensuring effective Scrum-based delivery while aligning with PRINCE2-led project governance.
• Act as Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer for the program, facilitating SAFe quarterly planning for the referral prescription teams and orchestrating synchronization, dependencies, and events across teams and tracks.
• Provide strong methodological guidance with a pragmatic mindset; demonstrate sufficient assertiveness to guide development teams and the client in consistently applying the chosen methodologies, with adequate tailoring, ensuring core agile values remain intact.
• Navigate organizational complexities where certain roles (such as project managers) may not fully align with a strictly agile framework, fostering collaboration and maintaining outcome focus.
• Collaborate closely with the client’s Product Owners and Project Managers on each track to remove impediments, manage risks, and maintain transparency.
• Ensure high-quality communication and information flow across stakeholders, ceremonies, and planning horizons.

Location and Work Setup:

• Primary location: Brussels, Belgium (on-site at the client’s offices), with hybrid flexibility aligned to client policy.
