Your mission in our team Joining our R&D Rail Automation team, you will play a dynamic dual role as a Scrum Master and Java Developer.

You will guide an international team while actively developing cutting-edge, SIL2-compliant Control Center solutions that ensure safe and efficient railway operations worldwide.

You’ll make a difference by

Facilitating Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Retrospectives) and ensuring the team delivers high-quality results.

Coaching the team to remove impediments, foster continuous learning, and achieve reliable sprint goals.

Collaborating closely with Product Owners and international stakeholders to ensure transparency and align on product vision.

Designing, implementing, and modifying critical software for Siemens’ signaling solutions using Java.

Applying SIL2 development techniques to create robust, generic products deployable anywhere in the world.

Your success is grounded in

A Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Industrial Engineering.

Solid experience in Object-Oriented Programming, specifically using Java.

Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multicultural Agile teams.

Knowledge of software architecture, configuration management (GIT), and Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, SonarQube).

Fluency in both English and Spanish to collaborate effectively in a global R&D environment.

You’ll thrive even more if you also bring

Proven experience working with AGILE methodologies (Scrum) and related tools (Jira, Gitlab, RTC).

Knowledge of Railway Signaling Train Control systems, CENELEC 50128 standards, or requirements tools like DOORS.

Familiarity with IT Security (vulnerability testing, cryptography) or additional programming languages like Python.
