As a Scrum Master with ZMS info (part of Global Payments), you will be part of a growing team in Zagreb supporting the whole Global payments world in rolling up products and services. This is the core of our business, and we have an ambitious product roadmap we need you to deliver. You’ll work with the product and business teams to deliver new offerings in the products that thousands of businesses depend on to accept payments online. You’ll be responsible for continuously improving. Agile processes in your teams across the world.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective)

  • Remove impediments that block the team’s progress
  • Coach the team on Agile principles and Scrum best practices
  • Protect the team from external interruptions and ensure a productive environment
  • Collaborate closely with the Delivery Lead to support delivery processes, identify potential delays early, and implement corrective actions to keep delivery on track
  • Foster continuous improvement and encourage a culture of openness and collaboration
  • Track team performance metrics and help optimize workflow
  • Ensure transparency of work through proper use of Scrum artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment)

What qualities you will bring:

Technical Expertise

  • Experience as a Scrum Master for at least 3 years with a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
  • Expert in agile project management and Scrum - Knowledge of other Agile approaches desirable: XP, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, etc.
  • As a technologist you will be fully conversant with all aspects of software systems and processes

Planning & Delivery

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A proven ability to deliver on software projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience in agile development and project delivery practices
  • Experience of the technology, tools and techniques that support agile development (e.g. Jira, CI/CD, Story-mapping)
  • Scrum and/or project management industry qualifications are an advantage

Quality Orientation

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Committed to high quality amongst delivery teams in project documentation, delivery processes and outputs and seek continuous improvement of these

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to tailor communication to the audience

Leadership

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Passionate about creating and coaching high performing teams
