JOB DESCRIPTION

The Scrum Master guides, coaches and supports digital program for Nestlé businesses and/or markets to ensure that the goals of the digital program are accomplished. The Scrum Master is the main facilitator between the Business, the markets, the agencies (creative, UX, SEO, technical...), the Nestlé IT and the rest of NGBS Website Optimization Service team. The Scrum Master ensures that Agile practices are followed and supports the websites success, act as an extention of the business team.

This role requires:

· Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver services with high quality;

· Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines;

· Facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective;

· Acts as a leader who coaches and supports Agile team of 25 website service specialists (Web Content Editors, Front- and Back-End Developers, SEO Specialists, Analytics and Insights Experts, etc.);

· Facilitate the team’s and the organization’s continued adoption and adaption of Scrum;

· Assist the team as needed with backlog maintenance, and with User Story writing w/good Acceptance Test development;

· Be a channel for internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information;

· Assist the team with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs;

· Assist team with making appropriate commitments through relative backlog sizing, sprint story selection, task definition;

· Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices;

· Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution; improve team dynamics;

· Empower the team to self-organize; set the tone for ever increasing quality / velocity within the team—leading to high performance and exceeding expectations;

· Support the team in its use of Jira and Confluence for its backlogs, requirements, documentation, velocity, burn-up and progress;

· Process management: Ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of website services including web content editing, technical SEO, optimization, etc.; organize workflow, support employees as needed, ensure that tasks are performed efficiently;

· Drive service evolution and develop expertise; cross-functional alignment (MSE, Market, Function, GMB, Zone, Agency, IBS) as an extension of the solution lead;

· Maximize team productivity by improving ways of working and processes; scale opportunities in the area of website services and lead implementation of new ways of working across projects or service lines;

· Manage relationships with business partners in the market, business, or HQ; ensure partner expectations are met and exceeded through service orientation and service quality.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE...

· Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills

· 1-2 years experience as a Scrum Master for a web development project/ in an agile development environment; in managing the team of experts in a specific area, incl. remote teams

· Ability to establish and maintain strong relationship with team members across multiple reporting/hierarchy levels

· Strong interpersonal collaboration skills

· Project management skills

· Ability to work with remote stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment

· Ability to proactively and independently follow up with business partners and other digital teams to identify opportunities, align strategies, and provide consultaions on managing multiple projects

· Understanding of website services activities and landscape (eCommerce, personalization, campaigns, social media, SEO);

Knowledge of project tracking-management tools (Jira/Azure DevOps/Confluence experience etc.)

· A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or has taken equivalent training

· Upper-Intermediate or higher English Level.
