A role you will love

As one of our Scrum Masters you will be a member of cross-functional scrum teams that develop, deliver, and sustain products across a portfolio of applications. You will coach your teams in our agile ways of working, process and to develop a high performing delivery focused culture.

In this role, you will support Product Owners and development teams, highlighting the need for clear and concise backlog items and providing support regarding backlog management and value delivery. You will also support organisation wide agile initiatives as an active contributor to our Global Agile Community.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Facilitate scrum events to be purposeful, effective, action oriented and encourage continuous improvement.
  • Create a safe environment allowing each team to experiment with new opportunities and industry ideas, as well as working with the team to inspect and adapt when things don’t go to plan.
  • As a servant-leader, guide each team towards self-organisation and promote a collaborative culture that embraces problem solving, trust and feedback.
  • Work with each team to resolve impediments to team progress, supports the removal of impediments out with the control of the team.
  • Knowledge of techniques to support effective Product Goal definition, refinement and Product Backlog management to support delivering value to our customers

What will you bring to the role?

As this is a Scrum Master role within a technical function, you will need to have experience working in a similar role ideally within cross-functional agile teams. Stakeholder management and communication skills will be key for the role, so experience dealing with stakeholders at different levels would be ideal.

Of course, this is an agile role, and we are a company that has fully embraced agile ways of working. So, to be successful in this role you will need to come with a true passion for agile software delivery.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • In-depth knowledge and application of agile principles, frameworks, methodologies and practices.
  • Proven skills and knowledge of servant leadership, coaching, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and empowerment
  • Experience of supporting and creating Agile training materials for delivery team as well as the wider organization
  • Experience supporting Product Owners with creating, prioritizing and managing backlogs.
  • A good ability to coach, mentor, tech, and pass on knowledge.
  • Self-motivation and innovative thinking for outside the box solutions.
