Facilitate core Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) to help the team deliver committed outcomes each sprint.
Coach the team on Agile/Scrum fundamentals and reinforce agreed working agreements, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done.
Partner with the Product Owner to support healthy backlog refinement, clear acceptance criteria, and a shared understanding of priorities.
Remove or escalate impediments in a timely manner and help the team navigate blockers, risks, and dependencies with guidance from more senior Scrum Masters or leaders.
Use Jira/Azure Boards (or similar tools) to maintain accurate boards, sprint metrics, and team transparency (e.g., sprint progress, throughput/velocity trends, and impediment logs).
Promote collaboration across engineering, product, and partner functions to improve flow, quality, and predictability of delivery.
Support continuous improvement by helping the team identify, prioritize, and track actions from retrospectives.
Participate in PI planning and other SAFe ceremonies (as applicable) and help ensure team commitments and dependencies are communicated and managed.
Skills and Qualifications -Core Scrum and Agile Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master (or in a similar Agile delivery role) supporting technology delivery teams
Scrum and/or SAFe certification (e.g., Scrum.org, SAFe) required
Experience supporting one or more Agile teams through multiple sprint cycles, from planning through delivery and review
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and basic Lean/flow concepts; ability to apply practices pragmatically for the team
Experience working in Scrum and/or SAFe environments with technology delivery teams
Technical and Tool Proficiency Working proficiency with Jira and/or Azure Boards (or similar) to manage backlogs, boards, sprint metrics, and reporting
Familiarity with Confluence (or similar) for documenting team working agreements, decisions, and process artifacts
