MealSuite seeks for an experienced Scrum Master. We are on a mission to revolutionize the assisted-living experience through outstanding foodservice management software and technology. As part of our Technology team, joining our existing Scrum Masters, your role is to stay on top of the planned releases, remove blockers to capacity and delivery, and lead and encourage your Team(s) – to contribute in delivering the best experience for our customers. We use JIRA (and Confluence) and candidates with deep knowledge in JIRA Space and Board administration experience are of special interest. A day in the life as a Scrum Master:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (refinement, planning, standups, demos, retrospectives)
• Own a culture of collaboration and support within the core and extended Team
• Partner with Product Owners to plan backlog and manage changes
• Remove blockers, with focus and urgency
• Oversee team/sprint measures, including velocity and predictability
• Daily, be an Agile advocate and coach
• Be the Team’s point of contact for updates and escalation
• Lead the Team with transparency to all

Needs and Wants:

• Completely fluent in English
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
• Post-certification Agile learning/courses an asset
• Product Owner Certification an asset
• Solid knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience (at two or more organizations)
• Notable problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to envision time and prioritize tasks (yours and others)
• Team experience with remote members (VN, Canada, USA)
