Join us at Barclays as a Scrum Master, where you'll lead the delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
To be successful as a Scrum Master, you should have:
Ample Agile delivery management, with the ability to run large-scale technical programmes end-to-end using Scrum ceremonies, while meeting time, budget and quality goals.
Excellent stakeholder communication skills to align engineering, product and business teams, manage expectations and translate technical detail into clear business language.
Proven ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks early, ensuring delivery remains on track without disrupting sprint cadence.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Financial services domain knowledge, including familiarity with regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks and governance processes, enabling effective engagement with business and risk stakeholders.
Experience delivering mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications, with an understanding of build pipelines, release cycles and platform constraints to support accurate planning and risk management.
Experience delivering technology change in regulated environments, balancing Agile delivery with governance, security and compliance requirements.
